[509th] Tactical Unit

Before you post in our forums to join the 509th there are rules to be followed.

I. About the 509th

The 509th has been providing Tactical Servers for the past 9 years.

We started out as a MoH:AA Tactical Unit and then evolved into the Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 5 World At War,
COD7 BlackOps, and COD8 MW3 Unit that we are today.

Just because you're good doesn't mean that you will be recruited.

As members of the 509th, we believe that getting along with each other and proliferating a positive attitude and behavior are more important indicators to illustarte to us if you have what it takes to become a member.

We are a Tactical Realism Unit which implies that if you can't do it in real life, it is not allowed in the game.

II. Requirements

There are a few things to be expected of you if you would like to join the 509th:

• You must be over the age of 18.
• You must visit us on Teamspeak3 with Microphone...
  *We must get to know you before any considerstion to bring you into the unit will be made!
  
  Please note that TeamSpeak3 is a separate application. It is not the same as COD in-game voice chat.

• Able to play on a regular basis and attend our scheduled practices.
• Must wear our tags at all times, you will be representing the 509th.
• Must follow the server and forum rules.
• No racism or hurtful remarks towards members or other players.
• Provide a friendly and positive atmosphere while playing on our servers
• Able to make quarterly donations to help keep our many gaming servers and website running.

III. Application Period

• (1) You must play regularly on our servers and be on TeamSpeak for at least 60 days. This is just a MINIMUM and the actual "waiting" time might be longer. This way all 509th members can get to know you and you can get to know us.

Patience can pay off, and the time goes by fast when you are having fun!

• (2) Applicants who do not meet the above requirement (section II and III) will have their application "archived". A new application may be submitted if you are still interested in joining.


• (3) If you apply and are not accepted in the 509th, please remember you are still welcome on our servers, provided that you play by our server rules.

IV. Your Information

When you go to post in the recruitment section on our forum leave the following information about yourself:

• Your name, ingame and/or real.
• Your age, don't be ashamed whether your 18 or 80.
• Your location, country/state.
• Gaming history, other games played and for how long. How long you have played tactical before.
• How you found out about the 509th and why you would like to join.
